Collection: Dancing In The Moonlight

This painting is in the early evening moonlight with the wild flowers swaying in the gentle breeze. As I was painting it I got such a feeling that they were almost dancing to the joy of the moon - my beautiful Nanna came to mind and I remembered her dancing in the moonlight too, I started to sing a happy tune from a few years back – hence their title. A delight to paint and a reminder to me that every now and again I should take a leaf from my Nanna's book and dance in the moonlight.
