Dogs and the joy and colour they bring to our lives are one of my favourite things to paint. We are lucky enough to have a lot of dogs that share our lives - each one of them has their own individual character and brings something new and colourful into this world.

This colourful doggie was inspired by a photo my dearest friend took of her little Teddy. He was a wonderful happy little dog, always doing his very best to look out and care for his human family – he would anticipate their every move and always be there to offer whatever of himself he felt was needed at the time. This is Teddy at his best, offering his human Dad a rose to comfort him and cheer him up after his return from hospital – bless his sweet heart, dogs are truly gifts from heaven

I will be donating 10% of all net profits on any of my paintings or products featuring cats and dogs directly to 'SOS Animais de Nelas' to help them in their endless quest to save, care for, love and give these beautiful creatures a life they deserve.
