Dogs and the joy and colour they bring to our lives are one of my favourite things to paint. We are lucky enough to have a lot of dogs that share our lives - each one of them has their own individual character and brings something new and colourful into this world. Our dogs are always watching over us, gently guiding us, more than likely to the goodie cupboard :) - so when I saw a photo of this young lad, he made me smile and I just had to paint him, accentuating the colours I saw in him and of course those eyes watching your every move :)

I will be donating 10% of all net profits on any of my paintings or products featuring cats and dogs directly to 'SOS Animais de Nelas' to help them in their endless quest to save, care for, love and give these beautiful creatures a life they deserve.
