INSPIRATION

Just some Weeds was inspired by simply that, just some weeds.

Having had a conversation regarding stunning beauty of nature when left untouched, the colours, the complexity and sheer joy held in a bunch of weeds – their dictionary definition – simply an unwanted plant – I wanted to celebrate their beauty, their existence and say thank you for the important role they play so beautifully in the balance of our world – this picture was a pure joy to paint and a reminder to me to appreciate just how lucky I am to have lots of weeds in my garden :)
