INSPIRATION

Meet 'Nelly Amour' – I first saw a lovely photo of this sweet little lamb who was born in a local sanctuary to me here in France 'Amour des animaux Bretagne' - the gentleman who ran the sanctuary had put a very touching note on how different her little life might have been had he not rescued her Mummy – very different indeed – I couldn't resist painting this sweet little soul and as I was painting, it felt like she was almost reaching out on behalf of her kind saying 'Hello I'm Nelly born to love, not for your belly' - her beautiful little face full of innocence and trust.
